Public ACTA →
Here’s a link in reference to my earlier post on ACTA. If you aren’t aware of what this treaty involves you should start educating yourself. This is all types of bad news…unless your some super-mega media company trying anyway (except innovating) to save your dying business model.

Anti-counterfeiting agreement raises... →
The Anti-Counterfeiting Trade Agreement scares me more than any other government issue in the news today. I hope that this gets shot down in the courts and is found to be unenforceable. Can we please stop passing laws and writing agreements to save dying business models?

Mozilla, Video, and Mobile Computing →
For various reasons I’m finding that I’m using Firefox less and less these days. I’m all for openness but I think Mozilla has already lost the video codec battle. It’s time to retreat, reorganize, and focus on the entire war ahead.

Time to remodel educational jurisdiction →
This is the best article I have seen regarding the Lower Merion School District laptop “scandal.” The article is written by Lower Merion High School students for their school newspaper and gets to the real issues at hand.

Johnny Weir Deemed “Not Family Friendly” Enough to... →
I have yet to find a situation where the terms “family friendly” or “family values” were not simply euphemisms for some type of conservative religious belief. I also don’t appreciate the extremely narrow definition of family often thrown around in the media. There are many types of families. Explain to me the family for which this is not “friendly”?

WatchWatch
Is your life one big RPG? Jesse Schell from DICE 2010. good stuff In my case, my life seems to be a lot like Final Fantasy. I’m constantly grinding to gain skills that quickly become outdated and way too often I stop for very extended periods of time and just watch TV.
