Me: Hi, I need to make an appointment to see the allergist.
Them: Ok, you can't take any antihistamines 5 days prior to the visit.
Me: If i do that I'll probably be divorced or kill myself before the 5 days are up.
Them: Silence.
Me: Sorry, that date and time sounds fine.

There needs to be an ISP that operates like a data utility. The ISP would...

For as long as you know in your heart that what you’re making or doing matters, and, consequently, for as long as you accept and embrace the immutable laws of scarcity, your options for maintaining focus will…remain stunningly obvious.

“In almost every picture #7 tells the story of a Dutch woman whose life is seen from the point of view of a fairground shooting gallery.
The chronological series begins in 1936, when a 16-year-old girl from Tilburg in Holland picks up a gun and shoots at the target in a shooting gallery. Every time she hits the target, it triggers the shutter of a camera and a portrait of the girl in...

America's real school-safety problem →
We’re teaching kids what it means to be a citizen in our country. And what I fear we’re doing is teaching them that what it means to be an American is that you accept authority without question and that you have absolutely no rights to question punishment. It’s very Big Brother-ish in a way. Kids are being taught that you should expect to be drug tested if you want to participate in an...
